Hug.Me lets adults have voice calls with AI companions. This policy covers what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Hug.Me is for adults 18 and older only.

What we collect

If you sign in, we receive basic account details from your sign-in provider, such as your email. We store the companions you create, your call history and usage, and the memories a companion saves from your conversations so it can stay consistent over time.

How your conversations are used

Your voice and messages are processed by AI models to generate a companion's replies. This can involve third-party model and voice providers who process the content to return a response. We use conversation data to run the service and keep companions in character, not to build advertising profiles.

Storage and retention

Your data is stored so the service works across your devices. You can delete a companion's memories or your account at any time, which removes the associated data from active use.

What we do not do

Companions are fictional AI, not real people. We do not sell your personal conversations, and companions are not meant to represent real, identifiable individuals.

Your choices

You control your companions and their memories from the app. Clearing a companion's memory or deleting your account removes that data. If accounts are not enabled on your build, your data stays on your device.
